Need-to-know pool info

March 2018 | Related Categories: Resident News & Events

Spring is here and Eastmark residents are eager to hit the pool and frequent the amenities. While the influx in use creates a vibrant and connected community, it has the potential to result in excessive wear and tear and/or closures of our favorite hangout spots.

We can all help maintain these areas by keeping the following rules in mind (and help educate our neighbors should any be forgotten):

  • Drinks do not belong in the pool and should be enjoyed a minimum of 4 feet away to avoid contaminating the water. Yep, that includes water bottles, too.
  • Pool toys are fun but can cross-contaminate the pool when brought from home; only use those supplied by the Community Life Team. Plus, we want to keep the pool clear to easily spot a swimmer who may be struggling.
  • Dry off before entering the Bus Stop and wear appropriate attire as you would at a restaurant. No shirts, no shorts, no shoes = no entry.
  • Follow guest policy (4 guests per household) and be careful not to let non-residents into the amenity by closing the gate behind your group.
  • Children younger than 14 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (18+) in all areas of the amenity; no exceptions.

Review the Resident Access Card Agreement for a complete list of our amenity policies (it begins on page 3).

Safety is key, especially around water. Here at Eastmark we know that residents take pride in the community’s environment and resources and therefore appreciate the need for continued diligence when it comes to pool rules and safety. You will see signs around The ‘Mark (like the graphic at the top of the page) to help remind residents that Eastmark must adhere to Maricopa County Regulations.

To create a safe environment, we need the eyes and ears of residents.

If you see something suspicious, report it by calling the Mesa Police Department’s non-emergency line at 480-644-2211.

If you notice anything out of place, damaged, or not functioning properly, please submit a Community Concern Form.

And, of course, if there is an immediate threat of bodily harm or property damage; call 9-1-1.

Would you like to host additional guests at The ‘Mark? Please fill out the Guest and Facility Use Request form and allow 72 hours for review and follow up.

Treat our amenities as an extension of your own home and together we can ensure our community continues to enjoy these unique spaces now and for years to come.
