Try your hand at The Eastmark AwesomeFest 2018 Art Contest

Are you an inspiring artist age 15 and over who’s up for a creative challenge? If so, help us design our 2018 Eastmark AwesomeFest Event Poster and receive recognition as well as a cash prize. First place winning entry will receive $1,000; second place will receive $500. Winning entries and artists will be featured in upcoming Eastmark communications and promotional channels.

All you need to do is design a poster that interprets “The Spirit of AwesomeFest.” Established in 2015, AwesomeFest is Eastmark’s annual community celebration of all things creative, inspiring and innovative. It’s intentionally designed to bring residents together to foster fun, connectivity and shared experiences that build upon Eastmark’s unique and ever-evolving culture.

Contest Specifications:

• Deadline for submissions is February 23, 2018.
• Must use the established Eastmark AwesomeFest logo in the design –  1. update the year to 2018, 2. do not include icons pictured below the logo. You may alter the logo slightly if it helps better incorporate into your design. See:

• Poster must prominently include the event dates: April 13 & 14, 2018.
• Visual assets, images, drawings, photo execution and other messaging must be family-friendly and positive in nature.
• If selected, all submissions must then be submitted via high resolution files and formats that can be printed as 24 x 36-inch posters, 8.5 x 11 flyers and be converted into jpeg format for email distribution.
• Entries can be submitted electronically (as jpg format) by email or high-resolution 8.5 x 11 hard copies by mail and must be received by the deadline of February 23, 2018.

Contest Rules and Regulations:

• Contest is open to Eastmark Residents and the public who are 15 years or older before April 13, 2018.
• All artwork must be original; your art must be your original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material.
• The winning entry will become sole property of Eastmark, (DMB Mesa Proving Grounds LLC) which will be granted exclusive rights to reproduce images for the marketing of the Eastmark AwesomeFest event.
• Judging criteria will be based on 1) Creative interpretation of the Eastmark AwesomeFest experience, 2) Quality of artistic composition and overall design, 3) Creativity and originality.
• Multiple submissions are permitted.
• Prize payments will be made by check within 30 days of final camera-ready art files received. Winners shall be solely responsible for all Federal, State and Local taxes.
