On Saturday, Dec. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m., residents are invited to gather ‘round Palm Plaza at The ‘Mark to experience A Very Merry Eastmark, an outdoor winter fest chalk full of cherished traditions and home-spun holiday fun.
This signature event will bring back childhood memories and provide families an opportunity to create new ones such as bringing your very own special unbreakable ornament to hang on the community tree, adding to the collection that grows each year. Then, watch in awe as our live 15-foot pine tree is lit for the first time this season.
Dress warmly, but leave your fancy frocks at home. This year is all about toasty flannel plaids—checks, tartans, madras, you name it. Add a little frosty sparkle, and you’re ready for our little holiday shindig. Imagine yourself wandering the square of small town U.S.A., bumping into old friends and mingling with new ones, all while enjoying the charming and warmhearted feelings of holiday entertainment all around.
Throughout the evening folks will enjoy a bounty of good old fashioned family friendly activities including children’s crafts, hayrides, storytelling, and live mini-burro petting. Don’t forget dancing shoes because the live music is sure to bring the crowd to their feet (and you might even find yourself in a sing-a-long).
You’ll want to make a bee line for the family portrait booth and have the photographers capture your family’s sweet home smiles with the festive backdrop of your choice. Take home a complimentary print as a keepsake to remember the magical night.
It wouldn’t be a hometown holiday without a feast now would it? Saddle up to one (or a few) of the flavorful food trucks. Then enjoy a cup of complimentary hot cocoa or cider to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Register by Dec. 1. This is an Eastmark resident event; guests are limited to eight registrations per household. Your Eastmark account number will be required for registration.
