You can see it. You can feel it. The giving spirit of Eastmark residents is undeniable. And for that we say, thank you!
Even during these dog days of summer, the Eastmark Cares initiative is launching a very important campaign to support our local military service members and veterans.
What’s Eastmark Cares you might ask? Residents from the Eastmark Leadership program have joined with the Eastmark Community Life Team to formalize our neighborhood’s commitment to ongoing philanthropic and community service.
So here’s the lowdown. Now through the end of September, the Eastmark Cares crew is rallying residents for a series of fundraising opportunities, service projects, and awareness events to support military service members and veterans.
To kick it off, residents will have the opportunity to purchase personalized Legacy Pavers for $80 that will be installed beneath the flagpole in Honors Park at Anitole Square. Paver proceeds will support the Service Dog Fund, a local not-for-profit run by Eastmark residents Louis and Saramarie Robinson, that pairs and trains affordable service dogs for veterans in need.
Ready to purchase a paver? Here’s what you need to know:
You’ll also be able to support active members of the U.S. military through a community service project with USO Arizona, an organization that provides morale-boosting and family-strengthening programs to Arizona military members and their families.
More details will be coming your way about upcoming campaign events and ways to get involved, so stay tuned! We hope you’re able to share your time and talent with us for this special community cause.
