Eastmark makes Where to Retire magazine “Short List”

June 2017 | Related Categories: News | Resident News & Events

Where to Retire magazine has named Eastmark one of the 50 best master-planned communities in the U.S. for 2017.

The Magazine’s “short list” noted community trends that emphasize opportunities to engage and stay fit including paths, parks and pools as reasons to be listed among the “best of the best” in master-planned communities. Eastmark has all that and then some.

With miles of bicycling pedestrian-friendly streets, more than 25 neighborhood parks, a community pool and splash pad, as well as acres upon acres of green space in The Eastmark Great Park, Eastmark is very active.

It’s this collection of great little things that combine to make something even greater.

Steve Ventre discovered Eastmark while helping his daughter search for homes in the community. He fell in love with its design and vision. In 2015 he relocated to the community and soon after, his son relocated to Eastmark too.

Within walking distance to his children’s houses, Ventre gets to spend many mornings with his grandsons. “I get to spend all day long doing what I want to do. It’s the beginning of a new kind of life in retirement,” says Ventre.
