Henry Ford once said, “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.”
At Eastmark, we think of ourselves as young and hip no matter our age and we value life-long learning. In fact, our community is designed for those with a curiosity and passion for knowledge.
Within and around Eastmark, more than a dozen educational institutions offer unlimited learning opportunities to school-age children, those earning a PH.D., and everyone in between.
Sequoia Pathfinder Academy is one of two charter schools in Eastmark for students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The school is designed like a children’s museum to inspire learning at every turn, not just in the classrooms. With a focus on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, or STEAM, students receive a well-rounded education.
For the student who aspires to a global approach to learning, BASIS Mesa gives fourth through twelfth-graders a rigorous curriculum that meets the highest international standards. Imagine learning Latin in fifth grade and by seventh grade moving on to Mandarin. Even more exciting is that subject matters are taught by experts in their fields.
Just down the road from Eastmark is ASU Polytechnic with a broad range of programs such as aviation, engineering, business, and technology that emphasize a hands-on and team-based learning environment. If learning the complexities of air traffic management or exploring innovative uses for algae is your thing, ASU Polytechnic is your place.
At Mesa Community College you can get an introduction to almost anything from photography and history to science and the humanities. It’s a launch pad to a four-year degree or place you can enjoy learning on your own schedule.
What are your life-long learning aspirations?
