Eastmark property owners are about to find out that they will receive their very own cruiser in January!

Eastmark® is designed to be enjoyed outside. After all, that’s where you’ll experience tree-lined paths, wide-open views of the Superstition Mountains, plenty of parks, and your neighbors.

What better way to get around the neighborhood than on a bicycle? Save the car for getting to other parts of town. Use your Eastmark Original cruiser to explore and connect within your new community.

What is an Eastmark Original cruiser? A bike. But not just any bike. On Saturday, Nov. 8, the Eastmark team is going door-to-door to Eastmark neighbors to give them the good news: every property owner will receive their very own Eastmark Original cruiser in January 2015. It’s our gift to you to inspire our vision for a “cruiser culture” in Eastmark.

What is a “cruiser culture“?

“Bikes symbolize many of the values we treasure at Eastmark,” said Community Life Director Suzanne Walden-Wells. “Bikes just make you feel good. They’re fun to ride, you get fresh air and exercise all at the same time. But what’s better, you can experience your neighborhood and meet neighbors on a bike, unlike driving in a car. At Eastmark we want to encourage a happy, active, and engaged lifestyle. A bike is a means for accomplishing this ideal.”

What’s more, these Eastmark Original cruisers are a limited edition custom bike designed and assembled right here in the Valley. Supporting local business is another important value at Eastmark and we are proud to partner with Jim Decker and his team at Soul Beach Cruisers in Tempe.

“We’re so excited to unveil the design of the bike in January,” said Suzanne. “I’ll give you a hint right now. They’re bright and they’re bold. We’re really pleased with Jim’s creativity on the design of the cruiser.”

Every current household in Eastmark, as well as any new residents who are under contract on their home by Dec. 31, 2014 is eligible to receive an Eastmark Original cruiser. Please visit the Eastmark Visitor & Community Center or the builder models offices for more information. Click here to read more about the Cruiser Culture gaining traction in Eastmark.
