June 2014 | Related Categories: Community Life | Events | What's New

Eastmark held its June First Friday Concert at the Event Pavilion, located in The Eastmark Great Park™.

On June 6, the 80s tribute band Jake Ryan played popular new wave and pop songs by Duran Duran, the Go Go’s, Depeche Mode, Madonna and more. Concert-goers were urged to wear their favorite 80s attire. Several attendees danced, sang along and enjoyed reminiscing about the 80s with friends and neighbors.

“It was great, can’t wait for the next one”
“So much fun”
“You make it look like there is no heat here. Looks like a lot of fun.”

The concert series is hosted by the Eastmark Assembly, which is tasked with creating the dynamic lifestyle experience for the community.

First Friday will be on summer hiatus during July and August. The series will resume on Friday, September 5 with up and coming country performer, Tommy Ash. October 3 will feature Beatles tribute band Apple. The remainder of the Fall Series will be announced later this summer.
