Are you tough enough? You see the Tough Mudder shirts all over the Valley. Competitors wear them proudly and for good reason. They pushed themselves to the very limits by walking through fire, jumping in ice and running through electrical wires at Eastmark.
Now it’s your chance to earn a Tough Mudder shirt.
On April 5 and 6, Eastmark’s north end will be transformed in to Tough Mudder, the world’s toughest endurance challenge. Designed by British Special Forces, Tough Mudder features military-style obstacles such as “Funky Monkey,” a trek across incline and decline monkey bars; “Everest,” a slicked-up quarter pipe; and “Electroshock Therapy,” a gauntlet of 10,000-volt-charged dangling wires.
Eastmark is proud to partner with Tough Mudder to bring this major event to the East Valley. More than 7,500 people will compete over the weekend in April and 4,000 spectators are expected to join the festivities and cheer on their friends and family.
Dubbed “Probably the Toughest Event on the Planet,” Tough Mudder has already challenged 1.3 million inspiring participants worldwide, who have raised more than $6.5 million dollars for Wounded Warrior Project.
Last year, DMB’s team competed and put together this recap video of the team. One of our brave team members had a go-pro on during Tough Mudder and the video takes you inside the race to see what it’s like to compete.

Registration is open now for $169-185 for Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6th. On average 80% of participants do Tough Mudder as a team. Tough Mudder is also looking for volunteers to help with the event. Interested volunteers can visit toughmudder.com for more information.
