Snow Playground at Cambium Court

How does one plan a party for 5,000 of their closest friends and neighbors?

Our goal was simple: Give families a true sense of what it’s like to live in a DMB community.

More than a year of planning paid off this past Saturday as DMB’s Eastmark team welcomed more than 5,000 people to our newest community in Mesa, Arizona. Families arrived ready to play and explore the community.

Eastmark’s Welcome Center & Splash Pad

In Cambium Court, the Community Life team’s block party featured face painting, magic shows, yoga in the park and more. Kids donned mittens to make snowballs in the neighborhood park. Concerts in the parks got kids on their feet dancing to tunes from the 80s. People of all ages set up their picnics in the Eastmark Great Park and enjoyed an afternoon of fun. We beat the heat with cold water and kettle corn, and of course ice cream.

Hundreds of kids and parents enjoyed the splash playground outside The ‘Mark. Eastmark was brought to life by neighbors and future residents.

A flash mob came out of nowhere and awed onlookers and passerby’s with their energetic dance to LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem.

On Sunday, the crowds were gone and we had the opportunity to meet hundreds of people who came through The ‘Mark to get maps and more information on Eastmark and BASIS’ new school. They spent the afternoon touring the 20 beautiful models constructed by our seven builders.

Now things are settling down, and these homebuilders are meeting with future residents. The ‘Mark is open daily to answer questions about Eastmark and get visitors oriented. And of course the splash pad is open for families everyday!

Eastmark is the opportunity of a lifetime and we take our responsibility seriously to deliver on DMB’s promise to create an inspirational community, serving as the heart and hub of the East Valley for generations to come.
