Tough Mudder at Eastmark

January 2013 | Related Categories: What's New

On Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24, Eastmark is hosting the wildly popular Tough Mudder event. The hardcore obstacle course is designed to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie.

At the Tough Mudder event, participants (AKA Mudders) will push themselves to their limits during this intense obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces. This extreme 10+ mile adventure challenge leads Mudders through an innovative obstacle course of mud, water, ropes, walls, electric shocks, and fire.

Tough Mudder has challenged more than half a million inspiring participants worldwide and has raised more than $4 million for the Wounded Warrior Project.

At Eastmark, competitors will experience 20-25 obstacles across the 10-12 mile course. Eastmark sits on five square miles in Mesa. The southern half of the property is currently under construction with the first phase of residential, scheduled to open in May 2013. Tough Mudder will be held at the northeastern end of the property and it’s the perfect destination for an endurance event like this as the land is prepared for redevelopment in the future.
