The first shovels went into the ground in April to begin the construction of another new phase of Eastmark. Leaders from AV Homes, DMB and Eastmark celebrated the occasion with a groundbreaking ceremony for Encore at Eastmark. AV Homes, a national builder, will be opening their newest 55-Plus community in the Mesa community in 2015.
Encore at Eastmark will include more than 900 homes at completion and AV Homes is planning for exclusive community amenities for residents. This is AV Homes’ first 55-Plus community in Mesa.
The developer will construct eight home models for residents to preview and there are four unique home designs planned for Encore. The community will open to the public in 2015 and more news about the homes will be available soon.
Encore residents will enjoy an active Village Center with a resort styled pool, fitness center, classroom spaces, and social events. The East Valley has long been home to popular adult communities and the new generation of these communities plans for a more dynamic, active and connected lifestyle. Encore will be a natural complement to Eastmark and its exciting residential neighborhoods.
Future residents of Encore will also be able to take advantage of all of the amenities at Eastmark, including the newly opened Event Pavilion, the splash pad and The Eastmark Great Park. In addition to the social events within the Encore community, residents will be able to engage with the Eastmark community as well and take part in the growing programs there.
More than 100 families, the Eastmark Originals, are living at Eastmark with more moving in each week. In collaboration with the Community Life team, these families are enjoying evenings in the parks at Eastmark, community events and more.
There’s an early interest list for Encore through AV Homes, and families can preview the lifestyle by taking advantage of special event opportunities like First Friday concerts.
