We had a great time this month hosting the Wicked West Challenge at the Eastmark Great Park™! This event brings the local CrossFit community together in an endurance competition that pushes athletes to their limits in a Garage Games challenge.

More than 500 people attended the Wicked West Challenge – there was a great mix of CrossFit participants, judges, and spectators. The two-day long challenge celebrated athletes of all levels – from those who are working to prove themselves in an official competition, to those who want to go head-to-head with competitors from across the region.

The event was flawlessly executed – a big thanks to Eastmark’s partner, Firebird CrossFit, for organizing a fantastic event. Both participants and spectators enjoyed the festivities. Food vendors and plenty of family-fun activities were planned throughout the weekend, including trainer-guided challenges for spectators who were curious about the CrossFit craze; the Mesa Parks and Recreation Fun Fitness Van for kids; and the Eastmark Splash Pad.
