DMB Associates is celebrating the Grand Opening of Eastmark on June 1st with fun activities for the whole family and tours of 20 model homes from seven builders that will be available in this one-of-a-kind community. Festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. across Eastmark’s community parks.

Start your day at the Eastmark Great Park. Enjoy a demonstration by the Tillerman Yacht Club and become a star in the Eastmark ad campaign. Oscar the dog will be in attendance – feel free to bring your pup to meet Oscar and take a photo in front of the green screen. The Great Park will also have music playing throughout the day and eats from local food trucks – SuperTruck, Udder Delights, Sandra Dee’s Kitchen and more.

For a fun and relaxing day, “Yoga in the Park” will be featured at Selenium Park for “yogis” of all levels. White Crane Tai Chi Instruction will also take place at Radiant Grove. To continue with a relaxing and fun day, the Center for True Harmony Wellness will host a stress management session at 11:30 a.m. and a relaxation session at 2:30 p.m. to promote positive mental health.

For the sports enthusiasts, the Arizona Sports Coalition will be conducting soccer demonstrations at Lincoln Square. The Arizona Sports Coalition began in 2004 reaching only 30 kids in its first season. It has grown to teach sports to hundreds of children each season. Sports fans – big and small – are invited to Lincoln Square learn some new soccer techniques.

Throughout the day, live entertainment will feature cover bands, jazz groups and even a magic show. Jodi Light and the Shining Star Band will be performing in Cambium Court. Jodi Light started her career at a young age and was featured in the Emmy-winning show “Jodi’s World.” The band has played at Phoenix Suns and Rattlers games as well as the Democratic National Convention in 2000.

Rock Lobster will be performing at Kinetic Point with their 80s retro covers including Billy Idol’s “White Wedding “and Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want to Have Jun.” They have performed at venues across the Valley including McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, the grand opening of the Mesa Lightrail and the Arizona State Fair.

To escape from the Arizona heat, visitors are welcome to enjoy a winter wonderland in June at Cambium Court. The Summer Snowball will feature a snow machine that will be cooling off visitors. And once visitors have worked up an appetite, food trucks will be set up in various parks and include local favorites Aji Mobile Food, Gourmet Command Center, Liberty Biscuit, JG Superweenie, and more.

Throughout the day, tours of Eastmark’s exclusive model homes will be available to all attendees. Eastmark’s seven premier builders have created brand new home designs for the community. Eastmark’s builders include Maracay Homes, Mattamy, Meritage, Standard Pacific Homes, Taylor Morrison Ryland Homes and Woodside. Home prices range between the low $200,000s to above $400,000.
